Books in schools

Some people might say "Here's an iPad/tablet/computer/phone/kindle, you can just read on here!"

It's not the same.

Reading an actual paper book is something nothing can replace. With e-books, you are 'reading'. Sure, it's the same thing, but paper books don't beam an adjustable amount of light at your face. They can't be switched to your favorite video game. For e-books, you don't have to worry about losing your bookmark, there's an e-bookmark!  That you can't customize! E-books are more likely to cause headaches. Literally. Reading an e-book is more light/screen time than using a paper book, so it's unhealthy. But to be fair, there are some upsides. You can't lose your bookmark, you can't get a paper cut, and you can't accidentally drop your book down the side of your bed/couch (trust me, I know).

It's up to you to decide what you want to read on, but these are some pros and cons of each.
